Say 'ciao' to Riviera Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, owned by the American Italian Golf Association
DUBLIN, Ohio -- Minutes from Jack Nicklaus' prestigious Muirfield Village is a semi-private golf course you can play -- Riviera Golf Club, also located in the Columbus suburb of Dublin.
Owned by the American Italian Golf Association, Riviera opened in 1970 and plays on 167 acres. The layout is mostly flat, void of a residential component and gently rolls on parkland interspersed with small creeks and ponds.
The golf course plays 6,909 yards from the championship tees. Fairways are normally wide, though a few holes have trees guarding both sides of the fairway that tighten things up. Water is prevalent often and can sometimes not be visible from the fairway.
In addition to the 18-hole course, Riviera G.C. has a full restaurant, banquet facilities, driving range and practice greens.
