Very Bad Conditions
Course is run by City of Wickliffe and has some of the worse conditions I have played in for some time. It is hard to find course that makes NYC public courses in the middle of a drought look good, but this one does.
Course layout has a few interesting holes and some slight elevation changes that make the course interesting. Play the course only if looking for a cheap round.
Fun little course to play
I was a bit skeptical about playing this course when learning that the price is only $6 a round, but I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. It's the perfect size, 9-hole course. Nothing fancy; there aren't really tee boxes and no distinct fairway. It is a fairly easy course, but also has a few challenges that make it even more fun. It was a great confidence boosting course. I would play again and recommend to friends.
Short, Easy Course
This is a short, easy course. There are no par 5 holes. The greens were in 'ok' shape. The fairways were mostly dead grass. There are a couple water hazards - no real sand traps, several of the tee boxes were in rough shape. Some of the Par 4s are less than 250 - so they greens are drive-able. It's not a great course but it's very inexpensive, the staff is friendly, you get to work on your short game, there are some challenging holes, and the low score makes you think you are better than you really are.
