Roller coaster of a layout
Solid Course in the Cincy suburbs. The course makes full use of the hilly layout. The layout wides over the hills and through the valleys. Back 9 is hillier than front.
Only negative was that several of the holes are permanently cart path only. It was a tough walk for me.
Not a level Tee Box in sight
If you play the White Tees and you like level (flat) tee boxes you will not like these. All else about the course is 4 stars.
A Pleasure to Play
From the rural setting, to the course layout and condition, to the excellent staff, Hickory Woods Golf Course is a pleasure to play. This scenic course is located in rolling hills near Loveland, OH. It is easily accessible from numerous surrounding communities. The layout provides 4 challenging par 5 holes and 6 par 3 holes with a good variety of elevations. Total par is 70. The fairways and greens are kept in excellent condition. The greens provide sufficient challenge to all who putt on them. Hickory Woods has a fine pro shop and a restaurant with a good variety of delicious food. Lessons are available at a reasonable cost. While Hickory Woods was not (and likely will never be) selected for Golf Magazines Top 100 Courses in the World, the course provides both a challenging and a fun experience for amateur golfers at a reasonable cost. fun course
course is almost always in great shape, we play here weekly. the staff are great. course is challenging and fun to play. newer carts, most have covers / hoods for play in the colder or rainy weather. ( nice touch ) would recommend this course to anyone. Price is good as well.
Granddaughter,s birthday visit
Extremely friendly staff. Course was I remembered from over 20 years ago. Beautiful. Well maintained. Front nine somewhat open, back nine literally carved out of the woods.
Good Course
For the money and being a shorter course it is a great value. Kept in good condition and the back nine is challenging and tight.
